Donald "Don" W. Schwab, 43, of Alexandria, Missouri, died Sunday, August 22, 2004 at 7:11 P.M. at his home.
Donald Schwab was born on October 22, 1960 in Iowa City, Iowa. He was the son of Duane and Hilda Perrin Schwab. He married Lynn Bolanos on November 25, 1995, in Ft. Madison, Iowa. She survives. He had lived in Alexandria, Missouri since 1999 and had been employed as a laborer in steel mills. He was a member of the Alexandria Baptist Church and had attended the Wayland Baptist Church. He was a member of the Transverse Myelitis Association and the Commission of the Blind. When able, he worked on small motors and loved animals.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Schwab, of Alexandria, Missouri; two sons, Timothy Schwab and his wife, Kristen, of Naples, Texas and Shawn Schwab of Kerrville, Texas; two brothers, Duane L. Schwab of Brownwood, Texas and Johnny Schwab of Brownwood, Texas; two sisters, Sherilyn Tomme of Brownwood, Texas and Bonnie Wallace of Comanche, Texas; his parents, Duane F. and Nancy Schwab, and Hilda Schwab, all of Brownwood, Texas; his mother-in-law, Jeannette Bolanos, of Kentucky; his father-in-law. Roger L. Christy and his wife, Patty, of Alexandria, Missouri; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; his grandmother-in-law, Bernice Christy, of Keokuk, Iowa; and his uncle, Jerry Schwab and his wife, Dorothy, of Keota, Iowa.
Graveside services were Thursday, August 26, 2004 at the Argyle Memorial Park in Argyle, Iowa with Reverend Ken Barlow officiating. Burial followed the service.
