Sharon D. Farmer, 56, of Kahoka, Missouri, died early Monday, February 9, 2009, at her home.
Mrs. Farmer was born February 18, 1952 in Keokuk, Iowa the daughter of Lloyd Cooper and Rosetta Purde Cooper Amiss. She lived in Alexandria, Missouri for ten years before moving to Kahoka, Missouri. In earlier years she worked with Job Corps and later at Dadents in Kahoka. She had a green thumb and collected knick knacks. She loved her dogs Toby and Peanut.
She is survived by a special companion Gene Laymon of Kahoka, Missouri; one brother, Richard Cooper of Decatur, Illinois; one sister, Stephanie Corr of Keokuk, Iowa; one aunt, Emma Cooper; Ex-father-in-law, Duane McDonald
Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Her body has been cremated.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
