"Connie Jackson was a special friend and advisor to us in implementing the design of a headstone for a long-lost relative who died in 1878. We live in Wisconsin and only learned of Connie's death when we visited Burlington in August, 2011. We will always remember Connie's intelligence and attention to detail in her work. She really cared about creating the perfect headstone, just as if it were for her own family. She attended the setting of the stone and memorial ceremony in August, 2008, and the event was written up in the Burlington Hawkeye Newspaper. We were greatly saddened to only recently learn of Connie's death. "
