"Growing up Jim was my mom and dad, he had to brush my wirey hair so I would look good which he never allowed me to live down. He was my protector on the bus and at home. Never judge me for who I am and always told me I stunk because of my cigerattes. He always gave advice and always listened, with his loving caring ways. He will be greatly missed and Billy, Nichole, Jamie, Amanda should be so proud to have a dad that showed so much love and understanding, he always had a big shoulder to cry on. Just remember to show your children the love that he showed you. Because he was so proud of all of you.Love his SisterCathy "

"To Billy, Nichole, Jamie, and Amanda:Their isn't words to express how deeply hurt with the news of your father. A man with such great integerty, honesty, righteousness and a great love for family. From plowing the snow in the winter, golfing in the summer, playing cards with guys, buying all those Coney Island Hotdogs, or taking his kids and one troublesome niece to Walt Disney World. When I went out to his house with my son Michael for a visit, as I was leaving he gave me a big hug and said, "He loved me and he was proud of me." That to me was one of the greatest gift Uncle Jim could of given me. I'm not upset he is gone because I know what a good and loving man he was and if anyone is allowed in heaven would be Jim. But I'm more upset at the fact he was to be my advisor in life, my mentor, and my elder. He will be so greatly missed but so well remembered. Thank you Uncle Jim for everything you have given me, it was fair greater then anyone will ever know. "
