"I was very saddened to hear of the loss of Brandon this week. He was a good friend throughout high school who always brought a positive attitude and light heart to everything he did. I remember countless hours spent in the company of he and his fellow co-workers at Pizza King, which in those days was the steady local hangout for all of our crew of skaters. It was our safe zone, and we could always count on Brandons cheery face to greet us when coming in to eat, play video games, or for simple conversation. Unfortunately, I lost personal contact with Brandon when we finished high school and he entered the military. In recent years I had been hearing a lot about him and his faith through my extended church family at Washington Center UM church. I have been hoping to get to see him sometime soon and catch up, but our paths never crossed when I was back home visiting. My heart goes out to everyone who loved Brandon and misses him dearly. You are in my prayers. May God bless you and heal your hearts with his infinite love in this time of loss."

"Brandon was one of the nicest guys I've ever known, my tramping buddy from 2001 through 2002 at Johnson powerhouse RI and Gettysburg PA. I first met him at the apprenticeship program and eventually got to work with him for the first time at Long Electric. While out tramping around the country, Jeremy Arnett and I molded his young impressionable mind and helped him develop into the fine electrician he was. We nurtured him and coached him in the ways of the brotherhood until he was strong enough to venture out on his own. And eventually he flourished into a capable wireman - capable enough to teach others believe it or not! All kidding aside though - Brandon was a great friend and brother and our long days and nights out East would've been much less enjoyable without his contagious laughter, love of life, and permanent smile.
