" I met Becca through Relay and had run into her at Oncology. Then I found out my nephew worked with her dad at the sheriff's dept. Some would say that I have lost my father,mother and sister to cancer and have battled it myself. I will say that it is a badge of honor. Becca won the race! God picks his angels well! "I had the privelege of being one of Becca's instructors at the University of Saint Francis. She took my pediatric class and also spent the semester with me in my office in Bluffton. She was such a special woman and we had such a great semester together. One day I work, I became nauseated and faint during the day and then right as Becca was ready to leave. I told her to go home to see her family, but she refused and stayed by my side. I actually had to go to our ER and Becca called my husband and stayed with me until he came. I have always considered her my 'angel'. She so loved her children and I know they brought her much joy. My deepest sympathy to Jade and the children."
