Roger Allen Diemer, age 50, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 12:16 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2013.Born on December 22, 1962 in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Robert Ray and Sharon Annette (Keller) Diemer.
He graduated from Leo High School with the Class of 1980. Roger lived in Fort Wayne and Columbia City areas his entire lifetime and worked in general construction as a plasterer.In his free time, he enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, fishing and camping.
Survivors include his parents, Robert Ray and Sharon Annette Diemer of Columbia City;sisters and brother, Debra D. (James) Diemer-Byerline of Albion; William C. (Diana) Diemer of Maryville, TN; Sondra R. (Jerry) Diemer-Hughes of Fort Wayne and Stephanie D. Diemer-Hayes of Colorado Springs, CO.He is preceded in death by his sister, Suzanne Lynn Diemer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant Sharon Brockhaus officiating.Memorial gifts may be given in Mr. Diemer's memory to his final expense account in care of the funeral home.
