"I met Dave about 3 years ago , he would walk by in the morning with his little dogs and I got to be his friend. Last fall Dave and I went to the shooting range to burn some powder on a nice sunny day. And you know, as sick as Dave washe could still hold a group with his old service revolver. It made me so happy to see him enjoy his sehlf that day. The day before he passed I went to his home and I helped him in his wheelchair and me and him went for a walk all over the down town area. When we got back to his homemy hands were numb from pushing his chair. We talked about many things on that walkI will never forget Dave. He was my friend to the end.REST IN PEACE MY FREIND.I will truly miss you and I will be their for your family when ever they are in need.... Your friend TROY!!"

"There are no words that I can say to the family that can express the loss you feel.My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of loss and grief. The journey of each family member is different based on your unique experiences of Dave.My journey with Dave was short, but everlasting. Dave was strong, courageous, positive with a will to fight. He never expressed negatively to his illness always the good and positive and his accomplishments he was achieving. He gave it his all and never looked back. The only thing I can say that might be of some comfort is God knew he was tired with the fight and needed him to be at rest.No more pain and suffering.Dave is still with you in your hearts and is looking down from heaven.I have always prayed for Dave since he started sharing his journey with me.I will continue to pray for all of your family. God Bless."
