Timothy L. Riley
April 6, 1983 - August 21, 2017

Timothy Lee Tim Riley , age 34, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 3:15 am on Monday August 21, 2017. Born on April 6, 1983 in Fort Wayne, IN, he was the son of Thomas and Deb Riley.

Tim grew up in South Whitley and attended Whitko Schools. He moved to Columbia City in 2001. Tim worked as a laborer at Maple Leaf, Holmes Co. and most recently Dana Inc. Tim had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping others. He even started his own local taxi service to help others get around town.

Survivors include his parents Thomas and Deb Riley both of Columbia City; twin brother Roy (Megan) Riley of South Whitley; sister Stacy Lock of Columbia City; maternal grandmother Sharon Thompson of Warsaw; niece Madisyn Riley of South Whitley; nephew Garrett Wildey of Columbia City; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Louis and Olive Riley, maternal grandfather Gene Thompson, and nephew Gage Wildey.

Friends may gather in memory of Tim and are invited to bring photos and keepsakes from 4:00-6:00 pm on Tuesday August 29, 2017, at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. In accordance with Tims wishes there will be no funeral service at this time. Memorial contributions in memory of Tim may be made to the American Cancer Society.
