Michael Davis Jr., 12, of Burlington, died 2:05 p.m. Sunday, December 24, 2017 as a result of a motor vehicle accident near Geneseo, Illinois.
Born December 12, 2005 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Michael Davis Sr. and LaToya Cole.
Michael was a 6th grader at Aldo Leopold Middle School. He loved to play sports, sing and act. He loved to swim and was Spiderman crazy and enjoyed playing with his collector cards. He was greatly loved and will be missed.
He is survived by his parents; Michael Davis Sr. and LaToya Cole both of Burlington; one sister, Londyn Sky Davis of Galesburg; paternal grandparents, Carol Davis of Burlington and Issac Bufford of Chicago; maternal grandparents, Carol Lynn Cole and Austin Wills both of Chicago; aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service for Michael will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Aldo Leopold Middle School Auditorium. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the time of services. A luncheon will be held at North Hill Elementary School following the service. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral service.
