Clarence Wild
February 19, 1920 - December 23, 2006

Clarence J. Wild age 86 of the Town of Rolling died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Langlade Memorial Hospital, Antigo.
He was born February 19, 1920 in the Town of Rolling to the late Joseph and Mary (Steber) Wild. On September 18, 1943 he and the former Dorothy Strasser were married at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo by Rev. John Baum.
A veteran of WWll, he served with the 86th Blackhawk Infantry Division serving in both the European and Pacific Theaters. He was discharged as a Sergeant.
After military service he was employed at the Milk Bottle Crate Factory, he was a milk hauler for Kraft, and employed by Wild Seed Farms and farmed in the Town of Rolling for 30 years
He served as treasurer of the Elmhurst School Board for 9 years and was Town of Rolling Treasurer for 23 years.He enjoyed hunting and his family.
Survivors including his wife Dorothy are a daughter Susan (Dan) Sippl Eau Claire, son Ron (Marty) Wild Antigo

Mr. Wild was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Joseph and Floyd Wild
Funeral services will be held at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo at 10:00 AM on Wednesday December 27, 2006.Rev. Charles Hoffmann will officiate. Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 8:00 PM Tuesday and 8:30 to 9:30 AM Wednesday at the Bradley Funeral Home. A parish wake service will be held at 3:45 PM Tuesday. Burial with military honors will be held at the Queen of Peace Cemetery.
