John Prasalowicz
August 21, 1915 - January 14, 2007

John A. Prasalowicz lifelong Langlade County resident died Sunday January 14, 2007 at his home. Born on August 21, 1915 in the Town of Ackley to Walter and Victoria (Kedzora) Prasalowicz he married Helen Bunda on October 17, 1942 in Leavenworth, Kansas, she survives. Mr. Prasalowicz served in the United States Army from 1942 to 1944 attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He farmed in Neva and learned cheese making at his brother in laws cheese factory in the town of Ackley. He continued as a cheese maker working at the Kraft plant in Antigo for thirty three years, retiring in July of 1977.

He was a member of St. Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife and daughters Carol Honzik (special friend Marv) of Union Grove, and Jane Prasalowicz of Green Bay.

One granddaughter Barb (Mike) Linneman of Waterford and two great grandchildren Austin and Lane.

Three sisters Florence (Edward) Koszarek, Evelyn (Ted) Reif, of Antigo and Alice Cheslak of Ocola, Fl.

One Brother Edwin (Donna) Prasalowicz of Antigo.

He was preceded in death by four sisters Helen Fronek, Lillian Ball, Irene Wojcik, Anna Prasalowicz. Five Brothers Martin, Barney, Walter, Emil, Marcellus.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at noon at St. Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home.
