Ronald Arndt
May 6, 1931 - January 24, 2007

Ronald E. Arndt, Town of Rolling resident died Wednesday January 24, 2007, under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice, he was 75.
He was born on May 6, 1931 in Antigo to Edward and Margaret (Freisleben)
Arndt, and married Winona (Berndt) on November 5, 1951 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo, she survives. He graduated from Antigo High School in 1949 and joined the United States Army from 1950 to 1953 having served in Alaska and attained the rank of first sergeant. Following service he joined the Antigo Police Department where he worked until 1973, retiring as sergeant. Mr. Arndt was well known as a home builder in the Antigo area having built 85 homes prior to retirement in 2000. He enjoyed hunting and fishing having made many trips out west and to Canada. Ron's hobbies included raising pheasants and growing Christmas trees. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife and two sons Douglas (Diane) of Loomis, CA, Edward (Brenda) of Mosinee. Two daughters Peggy (James) Sailer of Antigo, Kathy ( John) Hanratty of Andover, MN. Nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Two sisters Judy (Joe) Stake of Milwaukee and Jean (John) Steger of Milwaukee.

One brother Donald (Gloria) of Antigo. One brother in law Elmer Beste of Boulder Junction.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Rosemary Beste.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday 10:30 am at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will be in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 3:30 - 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. at Bradley Funeral Home. Parish wake service will be held
