Lucille I. Matucheski, age 95, of Antigo died Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Antigo. She was born in Phlox to the late Joseph and Sophie (Bisonette) Marx on November 27, 1911. On January 25, 1932 she married Thomas Matucheski at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Phlox. He died April 13, 1986.
She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic Grade School, Phlox and is a member of St. Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church and the Rosary Society.
She and her husband owned and operated dairy and potato farms in the Town of Antigo and the Town of Ackley.
She was a Rosedale 4-H Leader and was a member of homemakers clubs.
She was proud of her 1st place awards for her canned rhubarb at the Langlade County Fair and had a talent to make something out of nothing. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and cooking.

Twenty one grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Lucy Matucheski, a son-in-law Don Kattner, five sisters-Margaret Shafel, Sophie Rank, Mary Strehlow, Theresa Girmscheid, and Emma Koeppel; six brothers-Joseph Marx, Vincent Marx, William Marx, Rev. Benedict Marx, Raymond Marx and Francis Marx.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday at St. Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating. Visitation will be held at the Bradley Funeral Home Thursday from 3:30 to 8:00 p.m. with a Parish Wake Service at 4:00 p.m. Friday visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
