Robert Walentowski
October 29, 1933 - February 23, 2007

Robert Walentowski of Jennings died Friday February 23, 2007 at St. Mary Hospital in Rhinelander under hospice care, he was 73. Born October 29, 1933 to Paul and Mary (Drzewiecki) Walentowski at Post Lake, he married Harriet Urban on December 1967 in Rhinelander.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956 having served in Germany and Austria.

He was employed for Morrissey potato farms for 20 years. In 1970 he began working at Daniels Packaging (now Print Pack) in Rhinelander. He owned and operated the Jennings Bar and Grocery for six years and worked for several years as custodian at North Central Technical College in Antigo. Most recently he worked at Amron Corp. and Johnson Coil both in Antigo.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters Mary (Jeff) Brendemuehl, Julie (Mike) Novak, one stepson Edward (Ann) Mas all of Jennings.

Five Grandchildren Ann (Bob) Schmidt, Luke and Jaxon Brendemuehl, Trevor and Hunter Novak. Two Great Grandchildren Kolton and Evan Schmidt.

Three sisters Sadie Panka of Elcho, Dorothy Clifford of Antigo, Johanna (George) Cmelak of Antigo.
Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Tony, Patrick, Aloysius, Harry.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 27, 2007 11:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church in Pelican Lake. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in spring at the Jennings Cemetery. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
