Joseph Lane
July 21, 1922 - March 10, 2007

Joseph Lane longtime Neva resident died Saturday March 10, 2007 at Evergreen Terrace, at the age of 84. He was born on July 21, 1922 in Exeland, WI to Arthur and Anna (Mattek) Lane. As a child he moved to the town of Neva. He graduated from Antigo High School in 1940 and attended one year of college. He served in the United States Army in the European Theatre from October 1942 until discharge in February 1946. Mr. Lane worked many years as a carpenter and cabinet maker for Tradewell Co. in Antigo. He retired in 1984.

He was a member of St. Wencel Catholic Church where he sang in the choir, and a member of the Holy Name Society.

He is survived by several cousins Daniel (Annettee) Honzik and Edward Honzik.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday March 14, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Wencel Catholic Church, Rev. Jeremiah Worman will officiate. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Visitation including a 6:30 p.m. wake service will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home and again on Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
