Letha Landry
June 12, 1932 - March 8, 2007

Letha Jane Landry age74 of White Lake died Thursday, March 08, 2007 at Asprius Wausau Hospital. She was born June 12, 1932 in White Lake to the late Rodney and Mamie (Wills) Amburgy. She married Albert Landry June 6, 1952 in Denver. He preceded her in death.
A 1950 graduate of White Lake High School, she is a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in White Lake.
She served in the United States Army from February 1,1951 to June 24,1952. She served in the medical corps as a WAC.
Mrs Landry was employed as an administrative assistant at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in California for 15 years retiring in 1997. She returned to White Lake in 2005 and enjoys reading and bible studies.
Survivors include two daughters Janet (John) Hall of Ft Hood,Texas, Colette Landry of Portland, Maine
A son Thomas (Sally) Landry of Fairfield, Conn.
A grandson Aaron Thompson of Houston, TX
Four sisters Charlotte (Edward) Buchenthal of White Lake
Janet (Carl) Quist of Glendale, CA
Sandra (Lee) Balicke of Avon, AZ
Mary Lou Philips of Tempe, AZ

Two brothers John (Dolores) Amburgy of Coleman
Thomas (Loretta) Amburgy of Antigo
A sister-in-law Ethelyn Amburgy of White Lake
Mrs. Landry was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters, two infants, Bertha Gill, Mildred Toshner and Ruth Castleman and a brother Donald Amburgy

Memorial services will be held at Hope Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 14, 2007. George Buchannan, lay minister, will officiate.
Visitation will be held at the church from 10 to 11 AM. Burial will be held at Langlade Cemetery later in the spring. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. On line condolence may be made at www.bradleyfh.com
