Robert Bishop
February 3, 1922 - March 20, 2007

Robert Gordon Bishop of Elcho died Tuesday March 20, 2007 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 85. Born on February 3, 1922 in Milwaukee to Walter and Pauline (Bucholz) Bishop he married Harriet Olson on March 1, 1943 in Wichita Falls, Texas, she survives.

He attended Central High School in West Allis prior to serving in the United States Army Air Corps from September 1942 to February 1946. After service Mr. Bishop returned to Milwaukee and worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service from 1947 until retirement in 1979 when he moved to Elcho.

He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, and
enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and snowmobiling.

Survivors include his wife Harriet, two daughters Sandra Bishop of Sussex, Nancy (Craig) Seivert of Minneapolis, MN. Two sons Wayne (Sandra) of Mukwonago, and Stephen (Lucille) of Hartland. One sister Leona (Philip) Trobough of Germantown. Eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Loretta Bishop and Wanda Roczak. One brother Gilbert.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday March 24, 2007 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Elcho with Rev. Roger Strebel officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church on Saturday. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences at www.bradleyfh.com.
