Donald Cowboy Buhr
October 7, 1950 - April 4, 2007

Donald "Cowboy" Buhr age 56 died Wednesday April 4, 2007 at Langlade Memorial Hospital under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was born on October 7, 1950 in Milwaukee to Heinz and Marion (Whitehouse) Buhr. He was raised in Milwaukee and served with the United States Coast Guard from October 9, 1967 to August 30, 1971.

He attended culinary school in Florida and Milwaukee. He worked as a private chef then as banquet manager at Marc Plaza in Milwaukee. He lived in Northern Wisconsin and Iowa prior to moving to Deerbrook.

He was a 20 year member and current Regional Vice President of the Viet Nam Vets Motorcycle Club.

Survivors include his wife Tamilyn "Tammy" Buhr. One son Adam Buhr of Marshalltown, Iowa, and one daughter Jenny (David) Davies of Fond du Lac. His faithful companions Buffalo Boris and (Just) Kitty.

Mother Marion Buhr of Waldo and his father Heinz (Caroline) Buhr of Aurora, Colorado.

Two sisters Maryanne (Lee) Holmes of West Bend and Lori (Bob) Murry of Waldo. Two brothers Henry (Terry) Buhr of Phillipsburg, MT. John Buhr of Milwaukee. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Father and Mother in law J.R. and Jane Brown of Van Dyne. One brother in law Todd Merrill of Van Dyne.

Preceded in death by his sister in law Kelly Buhr and his grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home Antigo with Rev. Omer Kelley officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A memorial ride followed by the burial of his cremated remains at Lakeside Cemetery in Kempster will take place this summer.
