"Roger, Ryan & Craig-- Our sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family. May the wonderful memories of Marlyn be a great source of comfort for all of you. "
"We were very saddened to learn of Marlyn's passing. It was an honor and a privilege to have grown up with Marlyn and have him for a friend all my life. He was always so much fun to visit with, and always willing to share his knowledge, experiences, advice, and all that we shared as life-long farmers. We are away from home and unable to attend his service, but we will remember. We will miss him. Richard and Arlene Pippert, friends from Dysart, IA"
"Rest Eternal, Marlyn.....Ecclesiastes 12:7 - Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Praying for your family, Marlyn."
"Craig, Roger and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Marlyn. I enjoyed the time I had with him over the past years. He always had a story for me. Marlyn was very much appreciated by myself and the rest of the maintenance staff at MCC the 2 summers he helped out with the grounds work. I know he was very proud of his boys. My sincerest sympathy to you all in this difficult time. May god help you through this time of sorrow and your fond memories of Marlyn remain close to your hearts. Polly"

"I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. I hope you may find comfort at Revelation 21:4, And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. We can look forward to the time when God will take away all reasons for distress and he even gives us a hope of a resurrection. (Acts 24:15)"
