Frances Carlsen
August 26, 1914 - June 24, 2007

Frances Isabelle Carlsen age 92 of Antigo died Sunday June 24, 2007 at Homme Home for the Aging in Wittenberg. She was born on August 26, 1914 in Antigo to Homer and Elizabeth (Rosio) Turcotte and married Edwin Carlsen in 1932. The couple lived in Three Lakes for a number of years. Her husband died on October 13, 1950. Mrs Carlsen returned to Antigo then moved to Milwaukee where she lived for 28 years and worked for John Osterr Manufactoring Company. She returned to Antigo in 1992 where she was a member of St. John Catholic Church.

Survivors include one daughter Mary (John) Anderson of Safety Harbor Florida; Four grandchildren Troy (Karen) Grimm, Todd (Cindy) Grimm, Kelly (Tim) Gorman and Jacqueline (Jeff) Bauknecht; and several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter Betty Sieber-Schmidt, one son in infancy Keith Carlsen, three sisters Evelyn Velente, Verna Curran and Wilhelmina "Pat" Turcotte; two brothers Merlin and Raymond Turcotte.

Funeral services will be held on Friday 10:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Omer Kelly officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the church. Her cremated remains will be buried by her husband at Three Lakes Cemetery at a later date. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
