Stanley M. Iverson, 90, of Conrad, IA passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016, at the Iowa River Hospice Home, in Marshalltown. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Anderson Funeral Homes, 405 W. Main St., Marshalltown. A private family funeral service will be held. Stan was born November 1, 1926 to Sam and Onnie (Medhus) Iverson in LeGrand Township, LeGrand, Iowa. He graduated from Dunbar High School, in Dunbar, IA and attended Iowa State University, in Ames, IA. Stan served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was united in marriage to Barbara Phillips on August 27, 1950. Stan farmed the rural Marshall County area and was especially proud of his cattle feeding business.

Stan will be missed by his son, Brad (Kay) Iverson of Marshalltown, four grandchildren; Dustin Iverson of Phoenix, AZ, Jamie (Josh) Hoglan of Marshalltown, Kelli (Michael) Waldorf of Grimes, IA, Jordan Alley of DesMoines, IA, and two great grandchildren; Jhettzen Hoglan and Owen Waldorf. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, a daughter, Becky Jo, and two sisters; Clarice Lee and Dortha Cordt.
