"We're to even start; He was. Always in a good mood, he would pick up fred, after work and head to were ever there was water they would take star and they would watch her fetch sticks or just watch her play in the water for awhile, but there were the acational going to the store whether it be for food, or candy, and let's not forget the yard sales, and let's not forget a part for this or a part for that, driving the country just to see wild life. The camping trips were fun, until the mascot came to visit, most of the time we had bug lights of all kinds, so from Fred & Laura Fehrmann here is a light so you know you are always welcome, I hope were ever you are a family gathering is in order, so Denny were ever you are just remember we will miss you but never forget you"
"If I could go back in time it would it would be to my childhood when I spent summers in Iowa with Grandma , Grandpa, Denny, Dave and Tony. Those were some of the best times in my life. After losing my dad, Denny and I became closer. We called each other often and would talk for hours . I enjoyed and will miss the stories he shared with me about him, my dad and the past. He loved to go camping and was looking forward to getting back out to the lake this summer. He suffered many hardships and poor health but always looked for the brighter side and for that he was one of the greatest men I've ever know. I'm going to miss our phone calls, his laughter and friendship. It hurt me to see him struggle with health issues and not being able to do many of the things he loved. I find comfort in knowing he's in heaven now. Give Grandma, Grandpa, Tony and Dad a big hug for me Den and tell them I miss you all dearly. I'll hold all my memories of you close to my heart and can't wait to see you again. Love Robert"

"Denny was an awesome Uncle it was cool when he came to Minnesota after DAD died and brought his camper and stayed most of the summer. Going to his camper after work and visiting, and watching westerns with him. And Jamie being the ring leader going to catch him some catfish, love you Denny. R.I.P."
"Den was a great uncle to me and I appreciated him a great deal! I loved his stories about hunting and fishing and always looked forward to a good western movie with him when I was down there in the more recent years that is, when I was younger I never liked them but the more I watched the more I enjoyed! I feel that my love for the western channel kinda sprouted from my uncles and my dads tv always screaming with guns blazing, saloon fights, glass breaking, and horses hooves pounding and every time I watch anything dealing with westerns it always takes me back to those years. I have a lot of great memories with Den and I'm proud to call him my uncle! God took home a great person and until we meet again Den I'll be missing you a great deal! I love you and was always honored to call you family! Give my dad and everyone a huge hug and R.I.P Den you earned it and I hope God Blesses you dearly!!"
"Family, I was privileged to be Dennis's doctor and enjoyed knowing and caring for him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. David Thomas "
