Victor Resch
August 31, 1926 - August 10, 2007

Victor A. Resch age 80 died Friday August 10, 2007 at his home under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was born on August 31, 1926 to Alfred and Ruth (Fiegley) Resch and married Georgian Krause on August 7, 1948 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo, she survives.

He attended Maple Grove grade school and graduated from Mattoon High School in 1943. Mr. Resch served in the United States Army Air Corp from 1944 to 1946 having served in France. He was an auto mechanic in Antigo for many years having worked at the Ford Dealership, Eastside Service Garage for 20 years and M & R Service Garage also for 20 years retiring in 1988.

He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Antigo and enjoyed fly fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Georgian, five daughters Susan (John) Buckett, Leopolis, Cynthia (Paul) Kissinger, Neenah, Victoria (Michael) Preboski, Mosinee, Ann (Thomas) Anderson, Bryant, Laura (Daniel) Hoffmeister, Antigo, two sons Patrick (Gina) Resch, Watkins, Colorado, Michael (Mary) Resch, Plover, twelve grandchildren and three great grandchild.

Also survived by four sisters June (Guy) Hutchins, Milwaukee, Margaret Korbish, Birnamwood, Sr. Ruth Resch, Dominican Republic, Joan Resch, Phlox, one brother Wilfred "Wink" (Gretchen) Resch, Birnamwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Mary Ellen Childers, three brothers Delbert, Cornelius, Edward, three sisters Stella Duchac, Florance Vorass, and Rosemary Koeppel.

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 13, 2007 10:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place at Queen of Peace Cemetery where Antigo Veterans will conduct military rites. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 3:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home and again on Monday from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Parish wake service will be held on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
