Agnes Schroepfer
December 16, 1915 - August 11, 2007

Agnes Schroepfer age 91 longtime Antigo resident died Saturday August 11, 2007 at Homme Home in Wittenberg. Born on December 16, 1915 in Bryant to George and Theresa (Wild) Gallenberg she married LaVern Schroepfer on June 11, 1940, he preceded her in death on May 2, 2001.

She attended Springbrook Grade School and graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1932. She moved to Milwaukee in 1935 where she worked at Woolworth's for four years. After returning to Antigo she continued her employment with Woolworth's working as personnel manager at the local store until retirement in 1978.

She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Antigo and enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing, baking and gardening.

Survivors include two daughters Donna Mae (James) Tatro, Fremont, Li Vanne Rae "Van" (Mike Jr.) Donohue, Antigo, five grandchildren Joanne (Anthony) Haag, Dan Tatro, Shayne Donohue, Shannon (Heath) Peters and Shaun Donohue, three great grandchildren Anthony and Mandi Haag, Brooke Peters, one sister Marie Behn, Pewaukee, one sister in law Betty Gallenberg, Bryant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother James Gallenberg, one sister Lillian Fleischman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 14, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place at St. Wencel Catholic Cemetery in Neva. Visitation will be on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Online condolences at www.bradleyfh.com.
