Anita Miller
October 7, 1918 - August 23, 2007

Anita Miller age 88 former White Lake resident died Thursday Aug. 23, 2007 at Friendly Village in Rhinelander. Born on Oct. 7, 1918 in the Town of Wolf River to David and Odelia Perkie, she married Alex Miller on Feb. 28, 1938 in Langlade. He preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 1990.

With her husband they owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Wolf River for many years. Mrs. Miller was member of St. James and Stanislaus Catholic Parish and St. Zita Rosary Society.

Survivors include two daughters Charlotte (Lee) Burkhart, Three Lakes, Mary Gilg, Neosho, one son Alex (Cheryl) Miller, Waukesha, three sisters Cordella (Allen) Hoyt, Florida, Alberta Reed, Colorado, LaVern Bricco, Cecil, one brother Norbert, Ohio, seven grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alex, one sister Velora Shiltz, two brothers Elmer and Gilbert Perkie, and twin great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday Aug. 28, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Langlade with Msgr. Paul Koszarek officiating.
