Mary D. Callahan
August 2, 1910 - September 24, 2007

Mary Dorothy Callahan, 97 of Antigo, WI, died Monday, September 24, 2007 in Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Tuesday, August 2, 1910 in the Town of Ackley, Daughter of the late Sebastian Drabek and the late Victoria Schella.
She married the late John F. Callahan on August 11, 1934 at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. He preceded her in death February 13, 1959
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and Altar Society, Women's Catholic Order of Forrester's, Langlade Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and Langlade County Association of Retired Persons. She was employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory from 1955 to 1968 and Gunkel's Bakery from 1969 to 1971. Until she was 80, she baby sat for many relatives and friends. She enjoyed sewing.

Denise (Chester) Carrigan of Antigo, WI,
Margaret (John) Majewski of Green Bay,
Victoria (Gene Szyszkiewicz) O'Neill of West Allis, WI,

21 Grandchildren, 54 Great Grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Callahan, son Joseph Callahan, 2 grandchildren Linda Carrigan and Jackie McDougall, 3 sisters Bertha Krupke, Victoria Drabek, and Julia Zinky four brothers Andrew, Anton, Stanley, and Leo Drabek and two sons-in-law Ron Galarowicz and Merle McDougall

Services will be held at St. John Catholic Church, at 11: 00 am, Friday, September 28, 2007 with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Visitation will be held at St. John Catholic Church Friday from 10:00am to 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the Queen of Peace Cemetery. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
