Wilber Keen

Wilbur Franklin KEEN, 84 of Pearson, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at home under the care of his family. He was born December 28, 1922 in Antigo, Son of the late Charles and Bessie (Knox) Keen.
He married Christine Hayek on February 19, 1955 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo.

He worked as a Machinist for Falk Corporation in Milwaukee for 32 years. He enjoyed being with his family, traveling, and the outdoors.

Surviving are his wife, Christine, and 2 Daughters, Carol (Michael) Zuba, Butler, Patricia (Boyd) Buyck Danvers, MN, four sons, Gerry Keen, Chicago, Michael (Kathy) Keen Antigo, Paul Keen, New Berlin, Robert (Laurie) Keen, Stevens Point; 3 Sisters, Betty (Edwin) Hanselman, New Berlin, June Kneiszel, New Berlin, Helen Umland, Antigo; 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law Marie Now, Clarence (Loretta) Hayek, Idell Price, Connie Hayek, Caroline (Francis) Verhasselt, Carl Schultz.

He was preceded in death by one brother Tom, one sister Janet Bunda,brothers and sisters-in-law Earl Kneiszel, Don Umland, Richard Hayek, Wenzel Hayek, Rosie Schultz, Dorothy (Don) Rank, Helen (Wilmer) Brooks, Erv Now, Art Price.

Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, Elcho, Monday, November 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Roger Strebel officiating. Interment will follow in the St Joseph Cemetery, Phlox. Visitation will be Sunday, 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home and on Monday 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the church.
