Theresia Resi Schreiber
December 20, 1942 - November 26, 2007

Theresia Resi Schreiber, 64, of Jennings, died Monday, November 26, 2007 in Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee. She was born December 20, 1942 in Horitschon Austria, Daughter of the late Ferdinand and Maria Wallner. She came to America at age 16 and worked as a waitress in Chicago. In 1961 she married Wolfgang Remers, the couple later divorced. She married Gerd Schreiber in 1977 and the couple moved to Jennings. Mrs. Schreiber worked as a cook at restaurants in Crandon, Hills Still in Pearson and the Pelican Lake Supper Club. She owned and operated the Pelican Lake Supper Club from 1990 - 2004 where she loved to cook and entertain.

Surviving are her husband, Gerd Schreiber, Jennings, one daughter Lisa (Wade) Flanery, Glenwood Springs, Co., two sons Fred (Tammy) Remers, Jackson, and Franz (Connie) Schreiber, Black Earth, eight grandchildren Heather and Tamara Flanery, Christina Remers, Joseph Young, Missy, Nikki, Jason and Jenna Schreiber. Three great grandchildren Honon and Arlo Flanery, Dylan Uberfox, three brothers John Krottner, Chicago, Rupert (Veronica) Wallner, Austria, Victor (Rosa) Krottner, California, and one sister Margaretta Ferenczy, Reiding Austria. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Services will be held at St. John Catholic Church, Pelican Lake, on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. John Gerritts, officiating. Visitation will be on Friday at the Bradley Funeral Home, Hwy 45 in Antigo from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to services.
