Joseph M. Migas, 85 of Elcho, WI, died Friday, April 11, 2008 at his Enterprise Lake Road home.

He was born June 16, 1922 in Leona, WI, Son of the late Louis and Mary (Ogarek) Migas

He married Ruth Underwood Moesch on July 1, 1944 at Milwaukee, WI. She survives

He was raised in Armstrong Creek, served in the Civilian Conservation Corps at Long Lake in Forest County, and served in the National Guard.
In 1943 he moved to Milwaukee, after marriage to New Richmond for 2 years. Moved to Elcho in 1945 and built their home on Enterprise Lake Road.
He was a self employed electrician, carpenter, and plumber.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Elcho.
He was orginial member of the Elcho Volunteer Fire Department, and the Hyland Lakes Chamber of Commerce. He retired at age 65.






Surviving are his wife, Ruth Migas, Elcho; son, Phillip Migas Elcho; a sister Katherine Klescewski, Star Pararie, Wi 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and a sister.
