Orville W.Yingling, 91 of Boulder Lake died Monday, May 5, 2008 in Langlade Memorial Hospital, Antigo, WI

He was born January 21, 1917 in Kaukauna, WI, Son of the late Frank and Mary (Feller) Yingling.


He married Hazel Alft in 1942. She preceded him in death in 1959. He married Beatrice Smits on September 30, 1961 at Kaukauna. She survives.
He was raised in Kaukauna and graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1935.
He was an Eagle Boy Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. He received the Ad Altre Dei and the Silver Beaver Awards.
Prior to WW ll, he assisted in the planning and construction of Gardner Dam Boy Scout Camp at Langlade.
During WW ll, he served in the China Burma India Theater as a Master Sgt in the Signal Army Air Corps.

He worked in Appleton as a Service Foreman for Wisconsin Telephone Company , which later became Wisconsin Bell. He retired in 1975 and moved to Boulder Lake where he was active in Langlade Little League as a coach.
In Appleton he was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society and Boy Scout Master for the church troop.

He was a member and lector at St. James and Stanislaus Catholic Congregation of White Lake and Langlade.
He had a passion for the outdoors, fishing, hunting and gardening.

Surviving are his wife Bea Yingling Boulder Lake; 2 daughters, Kathy (Charles) Frisk Green Bay, Carol (Sam) Hendry Riverview, FL; 4 grandchildren, Stacey Frisk, Erin Frisk, Andrea (Dave) Young, Marty Larkee; 4 great-grandchildren, Rhianna and Doug Young, Skylar and Madison Larkee; 1 brother, Jim (Joanne) Yingling Laona, a sister Dorothy (Gene) Sage Chula Vista, AK.

He was preceded in death by parents, wife Hazel Alft, 4 brothers Jerome, Donald, Norbert and Francis Yingling

Services will be held at St.Stanislaus Catholic Church, Langlade, Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 10:30 am with Rev. Paul Koszarek officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 10 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church from 9:30 to 10:30 .
