Margaret Eckhart of Marshfield died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Marshfield Care Center. She was 89 years old. Born in Marathon County, to John and Louise (Servi) Mach Sr.. She married Henry Eckhart at St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo, he preceded in death on March 31,1991.

She moved to Marshfield in 1952, where she worked at The Weyerhauser plant and St. Joseph Hospital Laundry Department. She was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Marshfield, was a former member of the Eagles Club and was active with the Senior Citizens Group in Marshfield.

Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Eckhart, Marshfield and special friend Jerry Gerber, one Son, Jerry (Marilyn) Eckhart, Sussex, one Sister, Mary Ann (Jim) Wild, Antigo, one brother, Harvey (Marge) Mach, Antigo, one sister in law, Lydia Mach, Antigo, three grandchildren, Rick (Kim) Eckart, Debbie (Ed) Taulman, Kathi (Don) Heinritz, four great-grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda) Heinritz, Troy (Tracy) Heinritz, Darien and Dalyn Taulman, four great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters Lucy Mach and Loretta (Demski) Kaminski, four brothers Wenzel, John Jr., Anthony, and Clarence Mach.

Services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church, Antigo with Rev. Jeremiah Worman, officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo.
