Bertha Mork
December 8, 1913 - August 16, 2008

Bertha Mork of Antigo died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Langlade Hospital. She was 94 years old. Born December 8, 1913 in Town of Almond, Shawano County, WI to the late Carl and Anna (Kunzak) Wetzel. She married the late Oris Mork on June 22, 1932 at Oconto Falls. He preceded her in death in 1980

She attended school in Gillett

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Antigo, for 38 years volunteering at both the old and new churches. At the time of her death, she was the oldest member of the congregation. A long time member to Sparks-Doernenburg American Legion Unit #3 Auxiliary, Antigo, WI, She is also a member of Langlade County Homemakers Club, AARP, and the Senior Citizens Group. She worked seasonally for Prosser Brothers and Kapustas Potatoes. She retired as a cook from Bass Lake Country Club. She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her, son, Dale (Bev) Mork Pearson; 2 daughters-in-law, Jill Mork Pearson, Kitty Mork Rhinelander; 9 grandchildren, Robert (Sandra) Mork Wausau, Kim (Randy) Tucker Odessa, Tex, Lonnie (Becki) Mork Post Lake, Paul (Jeannie) Mork Deerbrook, Sandy Readenour Wausau, Skip (Jenny) Mork Rhinelander, Rhonda Mork Merrill, Vicki Mork North Port, Fla, Aric Mork Pearson; 15 great-grandchildren, Jeffrey (Lisa) Mork,serving with the U.S. Air Force in the Mediterranean; Justin Mork Wausau, Seth and Shelby Tucker Odessa, TX, Jared, Kyle and Christopher Mork, Post Lake, Brooke Mork and Braden Mork, Rhinelander, Lindsey Mork Merrill, Arlena and Armoni of Spring Green, Arron and Alysa Mork Spring Green, Matthew and Zachary Berndt North Port , FL, and 1 great-great grandchild, Dylan Mork in the Mediterranean

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons Wayne and Gene Mork, two brothers Carl and Henry Wetzel and two sisters Ann Wetzel and Millie Kloss

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 11an at Calvary Lutheran Church with Rev. Kate Kraft officiating. Burial will take place in Pearson Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, August 18 from 4:30 to 8pm at Bradley Funeral Home and at Calvary Lutheran Church on Tuesday from 9am to 11am.
