Clarence Zelazoski
July 7, 1919 - August 20, 2008

Clarence Zelazoski of Antigo died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at his home. He was 89 years old. Born July 7, 1919 in Antigo to Thomas and Mary (Kloida)Zelazoski, he married Elsie Mae Russ on October 9, 1943 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo. She preceded him in death on June 7, 2008.
Mr. Zelazoski graduated from Antigo High School in 1936 and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was involved with Zelazoski Wood Products in Antigo for over 50 years having started working with his father and later in partnership with his brother Bernard. The business continues to be operated today by four of his sons and a nephew.
He was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo where he served as trustee and was a member of the Holy Name Society. He also served as a Boy Scout leader for many years.
He enjoyed being with his family and relaxing at Crystal Lake.
Survivors include his five sons, James (Mary) Zelazoski, Antigo, William (Donna) Zelazoski, Green Bay, Benjamin (Carrie) Zelazoski, Antigo, Michael (Jayne) Zelazoski, Antigo, Charles (Friend Paula) Zelazoski, Antigo; one daughter Susan (Michael) Werdeo, Antigo; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, two brothers Eugene in infancy and Bernard.

Services will be held on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo with Rev. Charles Hoffmann, officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 3:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and on Monday from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Parish wake service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home
