Virginia Gino Lynett
January 8, 1922 - August 27, 2008

Virginia Gino Lynett of Antigo died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Evergreen Terrace in the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 86 years old. Born January 8, 1922 in Antigo, WI to the late Russell and Alma (Haefs) Lynett.

She was a member St. John Catholic Church, and Christian Mothers & Altar Society, Langlade County Area Retired Educators, Heart Healthy Club. She graduated from St. John Catholic Grade School, Antigo High School Class of 1941, Langlade County Teachers College and University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.She taught at Cozy Corners Grade School in Elton, also in Eagle River, Marion, and Portage grade schools. She then taught grade school for the Unified School District of Antigo for 32 years retiring in 1985. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and knitting

Survivors include her, 2 sisters, Margaret (Jack) Shebuski Wausau, Ruth Harris Elkin, N.C.; 2 brothers, Joseph (Mary Ann) Lynett Reedsburg, Russell (Pat) Lynett Antigo; a sister-in-law Jane Lynett Wausau, many nieces and nephews including Mary (Rick) Kjome and Beth (Larry) Hoerman of the Antigo area

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Helen (Don) Henricks and Kathleen Lynett, 2 brothers Robert Lynett & infant John Lynett, a brother-in-law James Harris, and a nephew John Henricks.

Services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 11am at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo with Rev. Charles Hoffmann, officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday, August 29 from 9am to 10:30 am at Bradley Funeral Home.

A memorial has been established to All Saints Catholic School.
