Eunice Hoffman, of Antigo, died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at her home in the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 82 years old.
Born July 2, 1926 in Antigo to the late Herman and Hulda (Applekamp) Strube. She married the late Raymond Chief Hoffman on June 26, 1948 at Antigo. He preceded her in death on 10/28/1978
She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ. She graduated from Antigo High School and was employed for many years as a bookkeeper for Miller Tire and later Antigo Retreaters retiring in 1996.
She enjoyed knitting, reading, and going to the casino.
Survivors is a daughter, Jean (Richard) Koszarek Antigo; daughter-in-law, Sue Hoffmann Antigo, six grandchildren Rayna (Jeremy) Oesterreicher Birnamwood; Russel (Juliette) Hoffman Antigo, Rachel (Sean) Ritter Pearson, Robert (Becky) Hoffman Antigo Nikole Koszarek Portland, OR, Stefanie (Justin) Delfosse Green Bay. four great grandchildren Kennly, Elora, Shaina, Jake.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband, son John Hoffman
2 brothers Paul and Robert Strube, a sister Irma Tews
