Lee Ann Menting
December 1, 1943 - November 25, 2008

Lee Ann Menting, of Antigo, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008. She was 64 years old. Born December 1, 1943 in Wausau to George Kautza, who preceded her in death in 2007, and Hilma (Klopstein) Kautza who survives.

She attended Aniwa Grade School and Birnamwood High School. In 1962 she married Lester Menting, they later divorced. She recieved her associates degree in accounting and her certified nursing certificate from North Central Technical College in Wausau. She worked as a certified nursing assistant in the Langlade County area. She enjoyed sewing, reading, playing cards, camping and music. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Polar.

Survivors include her mother Hilma Kautza, one son, Leslie Menting and fiancee Jeannette Schuhmacher, Antigo, one daughter, Lisa (Robert) Diedrick, Wittenberg, one grandson Jonathon Menting, Wittenberg, her fiancee, James Carter, Antigo, one sister, DeLores (Daniel) Borneman, Antigo, two brothers, Jack (Judy) Kautza, Birnamwood, David (Diane) Kautza, Antigo, and many neices and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and her godchild and nephew Dallas Borneman.

Services will be held on November 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Polar with Rev. Donald Engebretson officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. at the church on Saturday. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
