Betty Seis
October 29, 1937 - December 28, 2008

Betty Seis, of Antigo, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 71 years old. Born October 29, 1937 in Antigo, to William and Louise (VanOoyen) Wurtinger. She married Ronald Seis on June 1, 1957 at St. John Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2001.

Mrs Seis was a lifelong Antigo resident and worked at the Weinbrenner Shoe Factory for 15 years. She ran a dairy farm in the Town of Rolling for 12 years, waitressed at the M & L Restaraunt and the Sandwich House in Antigo. She drove a school bus for the handicaped and worked as a janitor at Antigo High School. She enjoyed baking and was known in the community as the Fudge Lady.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Pahlow, Antigo, Laura (Mark) Burmeister, Shawano, two sons, Tom (Wanda) Seis, Antigo, Kenneth (Rebecca) Seis, Antigo, five grandchildren, Lindsey (Mike), Ronnie, Phillip, Trevor and Jacklynn, four brothers, Robert (Linda) Wurtinger, Manitowoc, Gordon (Christie) Wurtinger, Antigo, Donald Wurtinger, Antigo, Eugene Wurtinger, Antigo.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and husband, two brothers Jerry, and William Jr.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation including a 6:30 p.m. wake service will be Tuesday at Bradley Funeral Home from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Wed. from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
