Mannus B. McDougal, of Antigo, WI, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 in Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 76 years old He was born October 20, 1932 in Antigo, son of the late Roy and Rose ( Kryka) McDougal
He married Karen Moss on November 2, 1957 at the Congregational Church in Antigo. She survives.

He was raised in the Town of Neva He attended the Deerbrook Graded School and graduated from Antigo High School in 1950. He attended the University of Wisconsin Agriculture short course. He owned and operated a potato farm until retiring in 1992. He moved to Antigo in 2006 .He was a member of the Deerbrook Bridge Runners Snowmobile Club, Hyland Lakes Lions Club, Wisconsin Potato and Vegetables Growers Association.
He enjoyed his Belgian draft horses, hosting Old Fashion Farm Days on his farm. He also enjoyed playing cards and making fire wood..

Surviving are his wife, Karen McDougal and 2 sons, Mike ( Regina) McDougal Deerbrook, Mark ( Linda) McDougal Bryant; daughter, Melinda ( Mike) Whitt Antigo; 3 grandchildren, Amber, Adam , and Wesley McDougal; 2 sisters, Patricia Rettinger Bryant, Nancy Goodman Antigo 2 sisters-in-law Shirley McDougal Antigo and Mickey McDougal Deerbrook.
He was preceded in death by parents, two brothers Hubert and Jack McDougal, two brothers-in-law Norman Rettinger and Dick Goodman Private services will be held at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating Interment will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery, Neva, WI.
