"There are no words to express the deep sorrow that we feel at the loss of our grandmother. We know that we are so blessed in the grace that God gave her in death. We celebrate that she is in such a wonderful and happy home as she is back with Craig who we know she missed so dearly. How blessed we were with a grandmother who was never old, and lived each day with a spirit that was contagious. Time stood still at the farm and it was always home to each of us, she was the key to that. Every grandmother is special, but ours was the best! "

"I will never forget going to the farm as a little girl. Going to the barn, playing with all the cats and kittens. I moved to Florida in 1988, but when I came home to visit, I lived to visit the farm. Great memories for me and my daughter. So happy I was able to come home last July for the Hammes Family Reunion, you looked so great Aunt Betty. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. God Bless you, may you rest in peace. Love, Christina Hammes Helms"
