Warren Briesemeister
May 27, 1930 - January 9, 2009

Warren Breezy Briesemeister, of Elcho, died Friday, January 9, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 78 years old. He was born May 27, 1930 in Milwaukee, to John and Clara (Schoenkoenig) Briesemeister and he married Jean Tenaglia on Sept. 11, 1954 in Milwaukee. She survives.

He graduated from West Division High School in 1948 Milwaukee and served in the U.S Army from 1951 to 1953. He worked for Wisconsin Bell Company (AT&T) for 37 years retiring in April of 1986. He moved to Elcho in 1988.
He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, the Noetzelman-Boodry American Legion Post 377 Elcho, and the Bass Lake Country Club. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting at the cabin, carpentry and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Jean, three sons, Mike (Chris) Briesemeister, Greenville, Dan Briesemeister, Neenah, Pat (Lynda) Briesemeister, Hawthorn Woods, IL, seven grandchildren Jason (Nicole), Derek, Catie, Hannah, Nick, Ben and Zack.

He was preceded in death by his parents one brother Kenneth.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Elcho with Rev. Roger Strebel officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to services.
His final gift was to donate his body to the Wisconsin Medical College.
