In loving memory of

Mildred "Millie" Janasak
August 4, 1919 - January 28, 2018

Mildred "Millie" Janasak lived 98 beautifully full years on this earth, her time with us ending last Sunday, January 28, 2018. She was a kind, generous, humble, and fiercely independent woman. Born on August 4, 1919 and raised in Antigo, Wisconsin, Millie married the love of her life, the late Donald Janasak, in 1943 just before Donald headed off to WWII. After the war, the pair returned home to Antigo to build their home and start the Janasak brood, which included five children. Millie will be missed deeply and more importantly remembered fondly by the family she helped create and raise including her 4 surviving children, Donald (Laura), Mary (Stu), Peg and Gerald "Buck", 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Her spirit will rejoin her beloved husband, Donald and son, Bob, as well as her brother, sisters, mother and father.

A memorial service will be held for Millie on Saturday, February 3 at 11 a.m. at St. Ambrose Episcopal Church with visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A private burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, Antigo.

In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to St Ambrose Episcopal Church, 800 6th Ave. Antigo, WI 54409.
