Harold Charles Roehrig of Antigo, died Saturday, January 17, 2009 at his home in the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was 73years old
He was born June 11, 1935 in Antigo, WI, Son of the late Walter and Hilda ( Draeger) Roehrig .
He married Carol J. Bonnell on August 30, 1958 at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo She survives.
He attended the Third Ward School and graduated from Antigo High School 1953. After serving in the U. S. Army in Germany from 1955 to 1957, he attended a technical college in Green Bay and Wausau. He was employed for the U. S. Postal Office for 32 years working in Antigo as a mail carrier, clerk. He retired as Post Master of the Pelican Lake Post Office.
A life long member of St. Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church, he was a member Msgr Conrad Saile Knights of Columbus Council 1002, Antigo, American Postal Workers Union and a former member of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge # 662, Antigo, He served as secretary of the Antigo Men's Bowling League for many years.
He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, golfing, picking berries and the Green Bay Packers..
Surviving are his wife, Carol J. Roehrig and 2 sons, Daniel (Leigh) Roehrig and Steve (;Melissa) Roehrig both of Antigo; 3 daughters, Diane (Thomas) Joslin Baldwin, Patricia Bump New Glarus, and Peggy ( David) Kluwe Polar; 2 brothers, Dr. Paul (Lise) Roehrig New Glarus and George (Kathy) Roehrig West Bend; 10 grandchildren, Samantha Roehrig, Rachelle and Timothy Miller, Elizabeth, Matthew, and Michelle Joslin, Paige, Faith, Ethan Bump, and Ella Roehrig.
He was preceded in death by his parents Services will be held at St. Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church, Friday, January 23, 2009 at 10 am with Rev. Michael E. Betley, officiating. Interment will be in the Queen of Peace Cemetery

Visitation will be Thursday, January 22 from 3:30 to 7 pm with a parish wake service at 4pm and Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 am at Bradley Funeral Home .
