Harold Red Ritschke
June 14, 1930 - January 23, 2009
Harold Red Ritschke, of Birnamwood, died Friday, January 23, 2009 at Langlade Hospital. He was 78 years old. He was born June 14, 1930 in Antigo to Edwin and Flora (Hoppe) Ritschke.
He graduated from Antigo High School and worked for various potato farms as a general laborer. Mr. Ritschke worked for the Milwaukee Railroad. He moved to Chicago where he owned and operated a Custom spray painting company specializing in dealership cars. He retired in 1967 and moved back to the Antigo area. He enjoyed fishing and bow hunting.
Survivors include one son Kelly (Patricia) Ritschke, Harvard, IL, one sister, Lillian Ritschke, Antigo,
three grandchildren Anna, Sean, and Christopher, and his aunt, Bertha Weix, Antigo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his uncle Albert Ritschke.
In keeping with his wishes no services will be held.
