Thomas Donohue
May 16, 1926 - January 28, 2009

Thomas Donohue, of Antigo, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Langlade Hospital. He was 82 years old. Born May 16, 1926 in Antigo, to Dennis and Margaret (Keohne) Donohue.

He attended St. John Grade School and graduated from Antigo High School in 1944. Mr. Donohue served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1951. Following service he worked for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad in the Antigo and Appleton offices. He retired in 1985. He was a member of the Leland-Tollefson Veterans of Forgein War Post 2652 in Antigo and the B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge 662 in Antigo. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and made many trips to Manitowoc to watch their Hockey games.

Survivors include his son, Dennis (Jill) Donohue, Manitowoc, two grandchildren, Cory and Derek Donohue, and his sister in law, Jane Donohue, Antigo.

He was preceded in death by parents, two sisters, Mary Agnes Donohue, and Margaret Vandehey, 1 brother, Michael Donohue.

Services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at church one hour prior to services.
In leiu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Community Health Foundation, for Rosalia Gardens in recognition of the care he recieved while a resident. (Community Health Foundation 112 E. Fifth Ave. Antigo, WI 54409)
