Elmer Euler
November 29, 1908 - February 7, 2009

Elmer E. Euler, of Antigo, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday, died Saturday, February 7, 2008 at Homme Home of Wittenberg.
He was born Nov. 29, 1908 in Merrill, WI to the late August and Hety (Wendorf) Euler.
He married Grace Drew June 25, 1932 in Gleason, WI. She preceded him in death on June 19, 1979. He married Lisetta Berg in May 20, 1980. She preceded him in death Oct. 24, 2002.

Mr. Euler and his wife Grace farmed in the Merrill vicinity until 1944 when they moved to Deerbrook with their five children. He owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Peck until retiring in 1973 and moved to Antigo in 1974. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Antigo. He was a past supervisor for the board of the Township of Peck and served 18 years on the Soil Conservation Board of Langlade County.

Survivors include two sons, Sidney (Bea) Euler, Rochester, MN;
Jerome (Carol) Euler, Shell Lake; two daughters, Bonita (Lee) St. Louis, West Bend; Sharon (Paul) Johnson Lubbock, TX; thirteen grandchildren; Guy Robert Euler, Brian, Curt, and Rob St. Louis; Tracy and Ridge Euler; Tim and Alan Johnson; Chris, Renee, Amy, Tony and Clarissa Euler; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Clara Ricci, Merrill;
one brother, Marvin Euler, Chattanooga, TN; three stepdaughters Alma (Ted) Nielson, Neenah; Emily Scheerenberger, Madison, Lenore Strommen, Janesville; and one stepson Clarence Berg, Atlanta, GA; 11 step grandchildren, 14 step great grandchildren, and 10 step great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son Robert on June 27, 1961, three brothers, Rueben, Raymond, and Lawrence Euler, three sisters, Irene Jirovec, Viola Euler and Eleanor Sukow, one grandchild Penny Euler, and his daughter-in-law Nicky Wirz.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Strong officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 7 pm Wednesday at the Bradley Funeral Home and from 10 to 11 a.m. at church.. Internment will be in the Forrest View Cemetery, Town of Vilas.
