Funeral services for Mr. Lucian H. Copeland, 96, of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 7 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston with burial in Good Hope Cemetery, Livingston, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 9 p.m.Mr. Copeland died February 4, 2008 at Tennessee State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born February 27, 1911 in Overton County to the late Maywood E. Loretta Keisling Copeland. He was a businessman.He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII.He is survived by twin sons, Jerry wife, Brenda Copeland of Lebanon, TN and Michael wife, Mimi Copeland of Cookeville, TN; a daughter, Nancy Tipps of Lebanon, TN; granddaughters Courtney Copeland of Cookeville Tracy her husband, Kevin Hite of Mt. Juliet; and a great-granddaughter, Katelyn Hite of Mt. Juliet.He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Imogene White Copeland, grandson: Brett Tipps, son-in-law: Bill Tipps, 2 sisters: Eunice Spurrier and Grace Copeland Bilbrey, and 5 brothers: Harold, Carl, John, Joe, Paul Copeland.
