Funeral services for Mrs. Dulcie E. Garrett, age 89, of Livingston will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 23, 2009 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Dr. David Moore officiating. Burial will be in Overton County Memorial Gardens in Livingston. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m.Mrs. Garrett was born in Fentress County, Tennessee on January 20, 1920 to the late Pharris and Minnie Linder Cooper. She was a retired garment factory worker. She was Baptist in faith. She was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved to garden.She is survived by sons daughters-in-law, Harold Leigha Fletcher and Michael Dianne Garrett, all of Livingston, and daughter son-in-law, Edith John Newkirk of Kansas, MO; and was the beloved grandmother to eleven grandchilden and twenty-five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Bethel Fletcher, 2nd husband, Castle Garrett, and a son, Tony Lee Garrett.Pallbearers to serve are Damien Garrett, Jeremy Garrett, Chris Lund, Austin Abston, Colin Abston, J. T. Flowers, Dakota Garrett, Cory Ledbetter, Kyle Lund, and Ethan Wilson.
