James Smackwater Muelver
March 9, 1944 - March 28, 2009

James Smackwater Muelver, of Summit Lake, died Saturday, March 28, 2009 accidently while working at his home. He was 65 years old. He was born March 9, 1944 in Madison to Goldie(Howe)Muelver of Waterpower Lake and the late Emil Muelver.
He was raised in Milwaukee, graduated from Pulaski High School in 1962, served in the United States Army 82nd Airborne until 1964. He was employed as a Master Craftsman in the home building trades in California, Wisconsin and Virginia. He moved to Summit Lake in July 2008 where he continued in his craft. He was passionate about poetry, art, and sculpture.

Survivors include his son, Kael Muelver, Tampa, FL, a granddaughter, Saige Muelver, his wife Charlye Muelver, Summit Lake, his mother Goldie Muelver, Waterpower Lake, four brothers, Jerry (Susan) Muelver, Deerbrook, Michael (Emilie) Muelver, Summit Lake, Rickey (Donna) Muelver, Milwaukee, Jef (Robin) Muelver, Summit Lake, two sisters, Peggy (friend Dick) Burback, Milwaukee, Robin (Peter) Murphy, Deerbrook, a special nephew, Maxwell Muelver, Summit Lake, and other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Emil Muelver and brother Phillip Muelver.

Memorial Services will be held on April 2, 2009, Thursday, at 4:00 pm at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Jack LaMar officiating. Visitation will be April 2, 2009 from 2 pm to 4pm at the funeral Home.
Jim was a very special person, he will be missed by all who knew him.
