Funeral services for Mr. Clenton Dixon, age 70, of Rickman will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2009 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Nolan Cantrell and Bro. Roger Walker officiating. Burial will be in Oakley Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 noon until 9 p.m.Mr. Dixon died August 19, 2009 at Cookeville Regional Hospital. He was born August 13, 1939 in Overton County to Morris and Laura Cantrell Dixon. He was a factory worker at Hutchinson.He was of the Baptist faith.He is survived by his wife, Genat Dixon of Rickman; daughter, Dianna David Loftis of Cookeville; 2 grandchildren, Austin and Tara Loftis, both of Cookeville; his mother, Laura Dixon of Rickman; brother, Jimmy Dixon of Rickman; sister, Joyce Hargis of Alpine; mother-in-law, Glennis D. Prichard of Livingston; brother-in-law, Ricky Walker; and a host of nieces nephews.He is preceded in death by his father, a sister: Geneva Cantrell, and father-in-law: Fonzo Walker.Pallbearers to serve are Ricky, Larry Mark Walker, Jeff Rocky Dixon, and Harold Smith.
